Poverty Alleviation First Aids Movies and Television First
浏览次数: 次 来源:未知
Poverty alleviation should first support the aspirations, while film and television should first. The implementation of public cinema is imperative.

In 2017, there were 1.62 billion people watching movies on the city courtyard line, an increase of 18.08% compared with the same period last year. According to the data of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the total box office of the country in 2017 was 5.511 billion yuan, an increase of 13.45% compared with the same period last year. Behind the prosperity of the industry is the entertainment pursuit of Chinese audiences for sensory stimulation.

In recent years, China's children's film industry has gradually entered a freezing point. Children's movies are few and of poor quality, which in turn leads to the failure of children's movies at the box office. Commercial cinemas are increasingly afraid to introduce children's movies, resulting in children's movies are hardly visible on the market.

In cities, it is common for parents to lead their children to see movies together. However, commercial movies are presented to children. Not only are elements of violence, sex and crime abundant in them, but the behaviors and ideas advocated by them are often inappropriate to pass on to children. For example, family disputes and war scenes appear at will without being handled, and smoking scenes are common. If we do not encourage and advocate watching commercial movies selectively, it is easy to convey biased or even wrong messages to children.

The situation in rural areas is even worse. The survey results show that more than 90% of rural children have not seen movies in cinemas. At present, our country's courtyards are concentrated in cities, only about 10% of them extend to county towns and general rural areas, and the number of courtyards in poor areas is close to zero. Under the background of extra-linguistic achievements in schools, children's cultural life is often filled with gray space such as black Internet cafes and underground video halls, so children are more directly placed in front of pornographic and violent content.

Children are at an age full of curiosity and love for movies. However, they can only see Hollywood commercial films which promote American ideology. The disadvantages of Hollywood commercial films far outweigh the benefits of national spiritual civilization construction.

Film education has profound moral origins

"It is composed of theatre performers and film plays; it is like silence, and its influence is not as great as theatre, but it can also express artistic conception by various actions compiled by famous writers; and the natural scenery and scientific achievements, in particular, can draw its tortuous state and make up for the lack of books. It's also good for social education. In 1916, Mr. Cai Yuanpei, who was studying in France, gave lectures to the Chinese-French Education Association.

The "film" in the article is the present "film". However, the film technology at that time lagged far behind that of today. It was "silent film", that is, there was no sound but only picture, and it was black and white. Even so, its educational function can still be complementary and irreplaceable with books. As a modern art form, the essence of film lies in the subtle transmission of deeper concepts, stories, observations, feelings, atmosphere and even beauty to the audience, which belongs to the category of art education. Through art and film, we can cultivate the spirit of individual beauty and pure personality, develop national consciousness, enhance common sense of life, transfer scientific knowledge, grant life skills, and assist school education.

The idea of film education is one of the hottest topics in international educational circles. Sweden's basic education outline clearly emphasizes that films should be used in schools as a source of knowledge, as a creative educational tool, and as a form of art education. By 2011, the Swedish government will also provide about 150 million Swedish kroner for film education for children in all compulsory education stages, covering more than 620,000 primary and secondary students in 126 independent schools.

Another example is British film education. In addition to government-private collaboration, the British emphasize more on expanding students'and citizens' taste of film viewing, not only in the narrow scope represented by Hollywood-type films in the United States, but also in expanding their horizons, training critical thinking and cultivating their artistic creativity. To this end, the British Film Association has compiled the Practice Guide for the Use of School Film Teaching, which provides detailed guidance on the selection of teaching films, the space and equipment arrangement of teaching programs, and the teaching organization.
