I. How to Authenticate and Clear the Safety Warning of Projectors
No matter what state the digital projector is in (turn on or off), as long as the seal cover is opened or input into the slot internal card (IMB, IMS or HD-SDI) and the ICP card or ICMP card are pulled out, it will be fed back to TI Enigma (or media module). Only when installed correctly, the boot successfully passes the identity authentication and clears the security warning, the server Only in this way can we establish communication with the projector and realize film playing. In fact, this is a kind of anti-theft measures.
Before performing security certification, the projector must first ensure that all the cover plates and boards of the equipment are installed correctly. Then, start the projector until standby, and then place the authentication key (Fig. 1a) in the keyboard safety slot (Fig. 1b). When the color of the background lamp of No. 1-6 digital key on the keyboard changes from blue to yellow, remove the authentication key and enter the password in 5 seconds (default of the second generation machine is 12345612). After input, the color of the background lamp changes to green, and then to blue after 1 second. The security error information of the touch screen interface will be automatically eliminated later, indicating that the operation has been successful.
2. What aspects can be checked if the security warning fails to be cleared by identity authentication?
1. Check whether the authentication key code and the input password are correct.
Firstly, in the process of security authentication, we can find out the reasons by observing the color change of the digital key background lamp: 1. If the authentication key is placed in the security slot, it becomes red, indicating that the device has not recorded the authentication key code; 2. If it is found that the authentication key first turns yellow, the input password becomes red, and then turns blue after one second. Explain that the password you entered is incorrect. Above 1 can check whether the authentication key is taken incorrectly or edit the authentication key code again. 2 You can check the password and enter the correct password.
Specific operations can be done in the touch screen interface, login in administrator mode, username: st, password: default, select "Advanced" - "Manage Security Keys" - click the key list button, as shown in Figure 3 (3) - check whether the key code in the list is identical with the tag on the authentication key, if it needs to be changed. You can directly select the list key items, click the Edit button of "Pencil and Lock", and the edit key and password dialog box will pop up.
The key number can be clearly seen when the authentication key is slightly aligned with the light, and the key number can be input into the corresponding position to check whether the password is filled in, or can be customized, click on the confirmation, and finally click on the "floppy disk and lock" icon button to save the information. The authentication key and password are then stored in the device.
In addition, the user can also create a new key code, that is, select the blank key code item in Figure 3, click on the new key code and edit it. By default, the system can store up to five authentication key codes.
It is very important to set the key code and password by software, and it is also the basic knowledge that should be mastered. When cinema projectors find that the authentication key issued by one device is missing, they can use the authentication key on other devices to replace it. If there is a digital key failure in the key board of the device, they can change the password to avoid the temporary solution of the number.
The above operations, in most cases, can successfully pass the safety certification and eliminate the error, if found that the error information has not been eliminated, can check the physical installation of the equipment seal cover plate and plug-in board.
2. Check whether the sealing cover and plug-in board of the equipment are correct and firm.
(1) Check the sealing cover of the equipment.
The safety microswitch is installed on the sealing cover plate of the equipment, and the equipment must be in a completely depressed state when it is running. Otherwise, after being detected by the system, the communication between the server and the projector can not be established.
According to different equipment, the number and position of the micro-switch installed are slightly different. Series B is equipped with four micro-switches; Series C and S, DP2K-6E are equipped with two. The exact location is shown in Figure 5.
When checking, we can carefully check whether the safety fretting switches in these positions are loosened. After the cover plate is re-covered, the screw at the fixed cover plate should be tightened to ensure that the safety fretting switch has been completely depressed. If the cover plate is not tightened, it will lead to incomplete pressure reduction of the micro-switch, which is prone to fail to pass the safety certification.
In the work, it is often found that cinema projectors forget to install cover screw or the installation is not tight. According to the different models, the specific screw position is slightly different. The following is the screw position at the C series sealing cover plate.
In addition, the misaligned position or brute force installation of the cover plate results in its distortion and dislocation. Even if the installation is tight, the top pin of the corresponding safety micro-switch in the cover plate is not aligned, and the safety micro-switch shrapnel can not be completely depressed, which is also a common reason for failing to pass the safety certification. At this time, the cover plate needs to be corrected, but when the projection is urgently needed, the fragments of the microswitch can be tied up with bandage, but special care is needed to avoid damage to the microswitch and temporary treatment.
Another situation is that the cover plate above the keyboard often forgets to tighten when repairing or cleaning the B series projector, which should be paid enough attention to.
(2) Inspection of plug-in board
After reinstallation of the equipment card, the fixing screw on the card should be tightened to ensure accurate and firm alignment. If the board is installed loosely, it will easily lead to bad contact between the board and the signal floor, and the error can not be eliminated after security certification. In addition, there is dust barrier in the oxidation or insertion of golden finger, which will also lead to the error code can not be eliminated. At this time, it is necessary to remove the board card, and use a soft anti-static brush and vacuum cleaner to clean the surface dust of the internal slot. Use an eraser or absolute alcohol to wipe the surface of the golden finger. If isopropanol is used, the effect is better.
Normally, the above checks can pass the certification smoothly and eliminate errors. If it is still unsuccessful, it indicates that there may be bad wiring or components of the equipment. Generally, there are safety micro-switch, signal base plate, ICP board, IMB board, ICMP board and so on. It is necessary to dial the service hotline of the manufacturer for remote investigation or on-site processing by professional after-sales personnel.
